I am really glad I took my son’s car here- they were incredibly friendly, extremely reasonably priced, they gave me a thorough explanation of the repair, and they completed the work in no time at all (we needed the muffler and mid pipe repaired). At face value, you would think this is just another muffler shop on the side of the road. It’s only when you meet the folks that work here, James and all the techs as well, that you realize what sets them apart. Brought my 10th gen civic to them for my first ever resonator and muffler delete back in 2019 and just got a custom 2.5 inch system done from my downpipe’s back, with one of their in-house resonators and I could not be more pleased with the results, the professionalism, and the prices. They give it to you straight, on what’s possible and what’s not, and they help you every step of the way. Whether you need some touchup work or a full system, I would definitely recommend these folks.

My 2020 Lincoln Aviator had an exhaust pipe snap off from my catalytic converter. The dealership quoted me a price of over $3100 to repair. I called Mad Hatter and spoke to Victor about the problem. I sent him a picture of the damage and he reassured me they can weld it and have it done in a couple hours. I arrived Friday before lunch. He walked me through what work they needed to do. I asked him to reinforce the other exhaust pipe as well. I went and had lunch at the best Honduran restaurant across the street and by the time I was done eating, so was my exhaust repair. Victor and his team are honest efficient and prices are upfront and easy on the wallet. I’m already planning to come back for when I need brakes and tires. Business like this one, with honest kind people are who the community needs to support. 5 star, highly recommend.

I live in Michigan but have 2 daughters that live in the Tampa Bay area. One of them had the exhaust pipe rust away from the muffler. She took it to two different repair shops and both gave her a price of close to $1600.00 to fix it.The staff at Mad Hatter were very helpful and professional and had her taken care of in about an hour. They replaced only what was bad not the entire exhaust system and charged her $220.00. I very much appreciate the honesty and not taking advantage of her. Thank you

MagnaFlow single inlet with two outlets to make twin tips come out the back of my 2010 f150, cuz I wanted to choose the tone of the muffler, and MagnaFlow always sounds great. But this shop went above and beyond, I've heard about it from many people, and I've had the desire here at midnight to pass it along. These people are great, the shop is great, and they know their stuff. Go here, I don't care how far it is, go here and the guy will weld it up while you wait... I actually had a bunch of shops telling me that they couldn't run piping around the spare tire to get duels coming out the rear of my F-150. This shop did it with NO issues whatsoever, not next to anything that will be damaged or get hot or catch fire or anything... Let me see if I can find a clip... Here we go from the day that I sold it, and yes the bed had been rear-ended in case you couldn't tell... But it still sounded freaking great...

I took my BMW 128i looking for a more lively exhaust. James picked up the phone and immediately knew what to do. He was very helpful on the phone, and he even opened his store 30 minutes early for me. Abel, in the shop, did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable, and the whole thing took less than an hour and a half. Within 5 minutes of leaving, I was already getting compliments on the road. Being able to modify an exhaust without getting any drone is also something that is notable, and something, which they did amazingly. I will definitely be coming back! Alright y’all, come with me while I get some maintenance done on my car because this right here? This was a whole emotional rollercoaster 😭 So boom—I took my car to Cadillac for a full inspection thinking I was about to get some simple answers. Why did they hit me with almost $10,000 to fix it??? I’m talking heart dropped, stomach turned, “do I even need a car anymore?” type of moment. Because be real… TEN THOUSAND?? I’m always skeptical of trying new shops to do work on my car, who wouldn’t be? Cars are expensive. I rely heavily on google reviews and I can tell you, not a single 5 star review is lying. This place seems like just another muffler shop you pass by, but after giving this place a shot it’s very obvious they aren’t just another shop, they take pride in the work and have excellent customer service. I’ve never had such friendly service at a shop as I did here at Mad Hatter. Usually as a women in the car scene I get a lot on mansplaining when I take my car in for work, but that was certainly not the case here. I felt very comfortable and didn’t feel mislead at all. I had an H pipe and Roush axle back installed on my 2022 Mustang GT. They were honest about everything and didn’t charge an excessive amount for installation. To top it off, a few days after I noticed part of the exhaust that controls the active exhaust valves was rubbing on one of the brackets. They squeezed me in and had it fixed the same day I called in less than 15 minutes. I haven’t had a single problem since and they even called and texted to check up on it. I will absolutely be back!

James was so kind to me today. He normally doesn’t do heat shields but with his wisdom and quick experience he stopped my car from Rattling. I was so worried it would cost a lot to fix the noise. He identified the problem and fixed it and didn’t even charge me. I went to Madhatter cause many people say they are honest. And he was just that. He could have easily charged me but he helped me out instead and eased my fears when I am struggling financially right now. I will always remember him paying it forward. And will certainly come back to him if I have a muffler problem. Quick experienced and compassionate. To him it maybe a little good gesture but to me it was a big favor cause I always hear how automobile company take advantage of naive women. You can go there and believe they will do right by you.
